As a non-profit judo club run by volunteers, the sport is our reason for being and we’ve built a family from our members.
Our coaches have decades of teaching experience between them, from judo and other various martial arts, to personal protection training. They’re insured and licenced, with DBS checks and current safeguarding training.
Our lead junior coach is a primary school teacher by day including being the PE lead and stage one lead at his school.
Our head coach has previous experience as a higher learning teaching assistant, and years of teaching PE in many schools across the county, so you know your kids will be in safe hands.
Prices are as low as £20 per month for one session a week, and £30 a month for two or more sessions a week, with discounts for family groups.
We train three times a week, with the occasional weekend session thrown in for free.

What People Say

"Such an amazing club to be part of, thank you to the fabulous coaches and support staff ?"

Ellie

"My son has been going to Shudan Wellingborough Judo club for a few years now. He's made new friends, and is really enjoying it. He learns by having fun, which is the best way. The club is a British Judo Association (BJA) and the Amateur Judo Association (AJA) registered club, run by professionals, who are passionate and dedicated, not just about the sport, but about doing it right, and in the right atmosphere. They have decades of experience, not just in Judo, but in many Martial Arts, and it shows. They are talented, confident, welcoming and treat all members and parents as family. I totally recommend the club. It's awesome! Thank you Dave, Keith, Andrew, Luke and all the team."
